Public notice is hereby given that a Regular Session of the City Council of Nevada, Missouri will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 120 S. Ash St. Nevada, Missouri. The meeting will be open to the public.

PUBLIC HEARING: Proposed Zoning change of NW corner of E. Division St. and S. Alma St. from an R-1 Single Family Dwelling District to an RP-3 Planned Apartment House District
a) Consideration of Bill No. 2023-060 – A Special Ordinance of the City of Nevada, Missouri, amending the Zoning District Map at 13XX E. Division by changing the zoning from R-1 Single-family dwelling district to RP-3 Planned apartment house district
b) Consideration of Bill No. 2023-061 – A Special Ordinance of the City of Nevada, Missouri, imposing a Use Tax for General Revenue purposes at the rate equal to the total local sales taxes in effect and providing for submission of the proposal to the qualified voters of the City for their approval at the election called and to be held in the City on April 2, 2024
c) Consideration of Bill No. 2023-062 – A Special Ordinance of the City of Nevada, Missouri, declaring certain realty surplus property and authorizing the disposition of real estate
