Kendall Vickers was born at the Nevada City Hospital and grew up in the eastern Vernon County community of Dederick. He graduated High School from El Dorado Springs. He then received his B.S. Degree in Agriculture and Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He later earned a L.L.M. in taxation from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
He and his wife, Susan, have been married for 52 years and have resided in Nevada since 1975, where he has been a practicing attorney.
